FAQ & Support

Answers, troubleshooting, and how to reach us.

What is INMI?
INMI stands for Involuntary Musical Imagery, the research term for when a song plays in your head without you choosing it, also known as an earworm. InmiMood is named after this experience.
What is InmiMood?
InmiMood tracks the songs stuck in your head (your earworms) and helps you discover patterns in what they reveal about how you're really feeling day to day.
What platforms is InmiMood available on?
InmiMood is available for iOS, with Android coming soon. The App Store download link is on the home page.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your entries stay inside the InmiMood app, and don't get transmitted except through your iOS or Android private backup. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what we collect and how it's used.
Does InmiMood work offline?
You can log entries without a connection, however, you won't be able to search the database of songs, and you won't have album cover artwork. Sync and backup that depend on cloud servers will resume the next time you're online.
How much does InmiMood cost?
InmiMood is a one-time $0.99 download, with no subscription required for core logging features. Optional paid tiers unlock Patterns and Deep Insights.
How do I delete my account or data?
InmiMood doesn't collect or store your data anywhere off your device. To erase everything from the app, open the History screen and tap "Delete All My Data" at the bottom. This will remove your data from your device, your iCloud or Android accounts, and if you have any sync'd devices, you'll be offered to delete it there.
App won't open or crashes on launch
  1. Force-close the app and reopen it.
  2. Restart your phone.
  3. Make sure you're on the latest version from the App Store / Google Play.
  4. If it still crashes, reinstall the app.
Entries aren't syncing
  1. Check your internet connection.
  2. Confirm you're signed into the same account on all devices.
  3. Pull down on the main screen to force a manual refresh.
  4. Sign out and back in if the issue persists.
Not receiving notifications
  1. Check that notifications are enabled for InmiMood in your phone's system settings.
  2. Confirm reminders are turned on inside the app's settings.
  3. Disable battery-saver / low-power mode restrictions for the app, if applicable.
Still stuck?
